I built a .Net Extension module that works perfectly well in many of the client PCs. But I get a SLX Script error when I try to run it on a laptop. All other SLX functionality works in this client laptop. The location of the error is at the code ext = Application.Managed.Create("MyExtension", "MyExtension.MyExtension"). The .NET Extension module was compiled in visual studio 2005. I would appreciate any help.

By chance Is this on a 64-bit machine?

No. The machine is 32-bit. I will look into other programs like the version of .net and xp service pack.

Hi Ram,

Try running the RegisterSLXNetExtentions.bat in C:\Program Files\SalesLogix on the affected machine, sometimes the Net Extensions do not get registered.

Hi Ram,

Have you tried logging into SalesLogix as another user on the affected machine? i.e. To identify if it is machine or user specific

Is the laptop user a Remote SalesLogix User - are you running this on the main database or against the remote database?

Is there anything in the Event logs?

Ram, Where did you get the connection string from. Are you creating it yourself or are you using the SlxApplication.ConnectionString property?
