Tab Form with Grid, Data Form SamplesYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Does anyone have an example of a C# .Net tabbed form 'template' with one to many datagrid on it that works like an SLX ActiveX Form? With a DataGrid that acts like an SLX Data grid?

Preferably something easy to adapt to different tables.....(like when you create a new data form)

By SLX Form I mean: when you change the datavalues in 3 out of 10 fields the form does an update statement for those three fields only through the SLX OLE DB provider....which then updates the data and Create/Modify Date/User?

When you inline edit it a grid does it update that field?

When you menu add/edit the datagrid it pops up a data form for a specific table?

Ryan's 2006 Advanced Contacts example is kewl, but it doesn't save data nor pop up a data form.

Name your price for such a template and I'll see if they'll spring for it.

I'm not adverse to going down the C# .NET extension route....but If it involves a heck of lot more than selecting a new Account Form or a New Data Form (specify the table) , or dragging a grid onto a form and populating it with a sql statement and building a list of column objects....then it's simply not worth the time and effort.

Thanks!
