Currently, our company is using the following code in version 7.0.1 to execute a sync with Outlook after creating a custom activity through a .NET extension.
However, after upgrading to 7.5, an error is raised telling me that the function no longer exists. This is true. It has been removed. So how do I perform the same functionality as that shown below:

_SLXApp.BasicFunctions.DoInvoke("Function", "Intellisync:SyncCalendarNow");

I still need to sync on demand from my .NET extension, but have not yet figured out how. The whole Intellisync framework has changed. The Intellisync server is now a .NET web application. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Solved with workaround! Ok, here is the best workaround I have created to date. I am essentially tickling Outlook to force a silent sync. Create a class to control outlook. I created two static methods in this class (AddOutlookAppointment, DeleteOutlookAppointment). After creating your custom SLX activity, create your outlook appointment far into the future. Then simply delete this appointment. This simple action is just enough to kick off the sync and push the custom activity to the Outlook Calendar. Be sure that in the Intellisync settings have the checkbox checked for "Sync automatically when a change in MS Outlook is detected."
