I have several .Net extensions that I have developed that use the DevExpress Grid control. The issue I ran into is that when I embed the control on to a SLX LAN page it works well but will on occasion the usercontrol will totally disappear (usually when moving around columns). I have reduced the number of occurrences by frequently running a refreshform that performs the following code:

IntPtr hwnd = new IntPtr((int)ParentHandle);
Win32.SetParent(grdTaskUsage.Handle, hwnd);
ResizeControl(hwnd);

I just don't know 1) what overhead is it creating and 2) sometimes it still disappears. Any insight is appreciated.

Perhaps got to do with Windows Updates? i am not sure this could have some dependencies. Is it happening in all machines on only a particular machine, In case its working on the Dev machine and not on the user's machine there must be some file versions that may perhaps result in this. Not sure though if that is the case here.
