Changing the base table in a add/edit form
Posted: 19 Sep 07 10:55 AM
I have a form which uses fields from one base table, however I have one field where I can not change the data path to the main base table - any suggestions? Note this field was copied from another form and is a lookup edit field.

I would create another field just like it with a different name, make sure it has the same properties, and then delete the old one. I'm not sure why it won't let you change the data path, but in situations like that, show no mercy and kill the field.
Anyway, I think this is what you were talking about. If I completely missed the mark, let me know.
