my server stats.
Posted: 01 Dec 07 7:58 PM
After a db server move last week(to another dedicated server) , i
noticed that %System Interrupt time on my slx app server has gone up
considerably while System Calls per Sec has come down. This can only be
because of a weak IIS or a NIC card related network issue.
Has anyone come across situations like this? and what can be done to
have a better performance on the SalesLogix App Server- DB Server
network link? I do not have specs on our NICs but our servers are pretty
powerful.
Can there be a special Network connectivity between my app and db
servers to ensure that nothing is slowed down?

I have dedicated DB server and dedicated App Server and i have no troubles. When I migrated DB server to dedicated I only changed connection on App server and no more. I think you have network issue. Check event logs.
