Hello there,

This is my first post to the Forum. I have been working with SLGX 5.2.3.1008 in my company. We use Lotus Notes as our email client and have done the basic integration with SLGX where an email can be sent to customer from Saleslogix using the Lotus notes interface.

I was wondering if there is any third party tool is available that can help better integrate Lotus notes with Saleslogix to do atleast the following:
1) calendering of acitivities in SLGX can be scheduled and looked up via Lotus notes,
2) emails back and forth between the account managers and customers can be recorded as history in SLGX
3) SLGX contacts available via Lotus notes

I called up Sage software and they said that no work has been done in this regard and pointed me to this site

Any information will be greatly appreciated!

Best
Smita

I'm not sure about which versions of SalesLogix and Lotus Notes are supported but we use a product called MailLogix. I was not able to find it via Google but your business partner should be able to get some info on it.

It's not as tight as the integration with Outlook but it's functional and most users I work with like it. Those who don't are old Outlook users who just don't like Notes. (I'm in that camp myself)

Oops, I forgot to note that it does not provide a connection for calendaring. It basically added functionality to Notes to lookup SalesLogix contacts and to send a copy of an email to SalesLogix Notes/History.

I used to have to work with Lotus Notes and SalesLogix. The MailLogix tool is very good. Here's the current information from the SalesLogix website:

LinkPoint360 looks to be a more comprehensive tool. I was wondering if it was even the same tool. Ours must be old because once I did a bit of looking I found that it IS the former MailLogix tool. It looks MUCH nicer now. The functionality looks to have improved 10 times.

I'm downloading the 30-day trial to load in a test enviroment. I'm curious about the changes.
