In version 7.0.
1. I am looking at combining the SalesLogix Server and the Sync Server on one of my test servers and then I'll have a seperate database server. Does anyone know if that might be a problem?
2. I'm also planning on running multiple SalesLogix databases under that configuration, so please let me know if that could be a problem as well.

Thank you,
Ian

Our production server uses one machine for everything. I use VMWare and Windows XP to run my testing/development environment and all of that is on one machine as well.

I'm not entirely sure how #2 would work. You would need separate SLXLogs folders on the sync server and I believe for each database, a separate folder is created under \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SalesLogix\Sync but you'd probably want to be certain. This is where the syncservice logs and writecache files are located. I can run multiple databases on the same server so it should be possible to process them all using one sync server. I've never done that to verify it though but I would think BPs have.

Cool thanks Jeremy.

I currently have 4 databases set up on my current (v5.2) test sync server, so I think this will be possible in v7.0 as well, I just want t see if anyone else was doing this in v7.0.
