Hi
We are use SLX 6.2.x and we also have RemoteClient in use.

who can explain to me what the difference between SLXServer.exe and SlxSystem.exe

SLXSystem will be running on every computer that runs SalesLogix. SLXServer will only be running on your server that is the SalesLogix Server, and any remote computers. I believe SLXSystem is the OLEDB providor and SLXServer is the SalesLogix Server application. I'm sure somebody here will correct me if this is incorrect.

If you go to support.SalesLogix.com and log in..

In the "sdk" area for 6.2 there's a white paper on the provider you can download.. it explains the purpose of all of the pieces.

Remember.. this is not a public document... only for folks who are current in maint/support.
