In early versions of SalesLogix, Active Scripts were not available. The only language available was a version of BASIC called Cypress Enable Basic - and this is what Legacy Scripts are written in. As SLX increases in maturity, the legacy scripts are being superseded by Active Scripts and one day I imagine that they will be dropped completely.

There are NO legacy components in the 7.0.x OOTB blank db or in the Eval.
