unable to initialize datadictionary and invalid object name system info Error

fiogf49gjkf0d I have installed saleslogix server on the some other machine and saleslogix client on my machine i made connection successfully to server from connection manager but in datalink manager when click on the test connection i got error :"unable to initialize data dictionary and invalid object name system info"
eventhough i entered correct information |

fiogf49gjkf0d Veeranjan, have you followed the implementation guide for setting up SalesLogix? Does the sysdba login exist on the database server? Did someone else set up the db server? If so you should ask them what the password is. If you have done everything yourself then you can connect as sa and set the sysdba password to anything you want. If you did not add sysdba to the server then I suggest going through the documentation to ensure you havent missed other steps as well. It is pretty straight forward but you have to follow the directions.
Others may be willing to post the "stock" sysdba password but my experience is that many customers do not change the default so I am unwilling to post it.
