I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with.

I have a Crystal Report in a VB.Net 2003 program that I would like to be able to call from within SLX in the following manner; SLX supplies a value (probably a SLX ID like the AccountID) to the VB.Net program & then executes the program causing the report to be generated.

The reason I'm not running the report in SLX is the fact it needs a view, since we can not use stored procedures in SLX, to generate unions & combine data correctly. After the latest change, we have exceeded the 256 table limit the SQL Server has for views (Yes it's a quite complicated report).

We are currently on SLX Version 6.1.3.

If all you need to do is execute the vb.net app, all you need to do is just that...launch it. You can take a look here for some VBScript you can use to execute the vb.net app: http://saleslogixblog.com/rfarley/archive/2004/02/10/331.aspx

Pass any value you'd like to the app, then pick those off the command-line in teh vb.net app and use as needed.
