I have a .net application I'm trying to create.. It has a datagrid which I have created a datasource for the datagrid. Allowed the properties of Add, Edit and Update so the user can edit directly in the grid. Issue is it seems as if the tableId is not getting updated even though I am going through the provider.
Should I..

1. Update the recordset and then refresh the grid not allowing a constant connection
2. How do I generate the Table Id for the new row if I allow data to be entered directly in the grid..
