Service UnavailableYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I installed the SLX web client (7.0.1) the other day and got everything working fine - could log in and browse. I went back yesterday and started getting 'Service Unavalable' when I try to pull up the site. The only thing I know has changed is the admin password for SLX. I reset the ADO connection property in the web manager to reflect this..

I have recreated the web site, checked components services to ensure they are running, tested the webdll login, rebooted, cycled IIS.. I am not sure what to try next.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Port in IIS didn't match port in Web Manager. Must of scrambled it recreating the website at some point.

I ran an IIS reset to ensure some DB changes came through and BAM! - now all I get is 'Service Unavailable' in the browser when I try to pull up the site again...

Has anyone seen this?

Double check the version of the framework associated with the web site/virtual directory (should be 2.0 for 7.0.1, I believe).

Also, make sure you don't have two virtual directories/web applications that use different versions of the .NET framework using the same application pool - an app pool can only have 1 version of the framework running in it. I've seen that error before and IIRC that was the issue.

Después de regresar de un fin de semana largo, al revisar el Web Client, me apareció este mensaje: Service Unavailable. Por suerte encontre como solucionarlo (puede que te sirva):

Saludos,

I'd this problem, but can resolve this issue adding the WebDLL user in Log on As a Batch Job. This is found in Local Policies -> User Rights Assignment, of your computer.
