I have a client that is interested in using exchange link to move contacts to Outlook from the Web Client. As I understand it EL works behind the scenes monitoring the Contact and Address tables.. My question is can this be configured to the user better control over which contacts are synced to outlook, or is an all or nothing kind of sync? Thanks

You can specify the contact groups on a per person basis - it's not everything.

Ok, so you set up a contact group per person and that group gets synced periodically? I will try to find some documentation today. That may do the trick. Is it possible for the end user to force a manual sync? thanks

hi Steve, yes, this is correct - as this is a server side function it happens periodically (which youset on the server) and consequently the user has no control but, in my opinion, this is better as conversely - they don't need to do anything for it to happen automatically for them.
