Group Manager has changed, but how much?

name of abortion pill in u abortion pill online usa fiogf49gjkf0d I have previously look into the possibility of recreating the main web views like TACO (Tickets,Accounts,Contacts,Oppotunities) pre 6.2.3 with a new section i.e. Events. This was all fine until I tried to recreate the GroupManager functionality, like the next, previous buttons, create groups and the rest of the query builder functionality. Although all the scripts were designed to allow you to do this, it quickly became apparent that this wasn't possible. However since then the GroupManager has changed from an ActiveX control to an asp.net component, my question is, is it now possible to do this in the new versions? Is the GroupManger now more open?
Thanks -- Duncan

fiogf49gjkf0d Duncan,
It's changed completely. While SLX dev wrapped most of the functions in javascript so existing calls to "top.GM" can remain the same, things are still locked down (read: hard coded) to the point that custom entities won't work in the web client.
Something to make it easier to see what's going on would be the reflector utility by Lutz Roeder. http://www.aisto.com/roeder/DotNet/ Basically, the group manager is designed to only handle the out of the box types that SLX provides.
It'd be great if it could handle custom entities. I would think that it could be modified without too much effort if SLX wanted to do it.

fiogf49gjkf0d Thanks Jeff, just what I needed to hear and thanks for the Util, I’ll definitely have a look at it. I have to say I agree with you that it should be too difficult for SLX to open this up, if they wanted to.
Thanks -- Duncan
