Hi Guys,

I know in the Administrator that the number of logged in users is displayed, and the "Login" icon is different for logged in users . . .

I need to capture usage trends, so was looking to run a scheduled DB script to count the number of logged in users, and write the number c/w date/Time back to a temp table, for analysis at a later date.

Has anybody done this before, or, if not, does anybody know where the "login" status ih held? I can find last login, but not a yes/ne to say thatthe user is logged in OR out?

Any help would be appretiated, as I dont fancy going into Administrator every hour!

Cheers

Darren

This job is probably not as easy as you were hoping, I am afraid.

See here for something which should get you started:

You cannot (AFAIK) capture the SLX logged-in users' status, even though it is displayed in Administrator - infuriating isn't it?

You might also find the results of running the SLX Profiler of interest ...
