1. Can we able to create a new sales process in Aplicatio architect or Web client? 2. Can we use the WWF Workflow in SLX LAN? 3. How can we create a new .Net form and assosiate with webclient? 4. What all are the things we can do and we can't do in Application architect when compare to Architect? 5. Is there any sample to do simple integration with SLX?

Hi, i managed to extract the Sales Process of the BLOB and de-xml-ize the information in order to generate new Sales Processes.
It took me like 4 hours to make a "dirty" aspx page that inserts new sales processes, making them valid for both SLX Web and Lan.
The problem is the "all vbs scripting" behind when you try to follow the workflow defined for Lan, that obviously, wont work on Web.
For my current project, creating the sales process was more than enough. |

Jose:
I have a working solution for allowing Users to create and Maintain their own Sales Process on the Web. The original design was built on 6.2 and then ported over to 7.2. (Most code remained on ASP pages). I didn't make any changes to the Web Client regarding how it manage the Sales Processes, all I did was building the Sales Processes.
And you are correct, the VBS Script wouldn't be applicable for the Web Client. In my case, I made it simpler for the End users by only allowing Activities and Mail Merge steps, I removed everything else from it. |
