Hi all,

We've recently upgraded a client to 6.2.3, and they're getting errors when trying to access a page with the group dropdown at the top. The error in the web logs is

file not found... /aspscripts/SLXGroupManager.aspx

We've re-applied SP3, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. We still have the issue.

What compressed (cab) file is this in? If we don't have this file, what others are we likely not to have as well?

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Antony

The file you mentioned doesn't physically exist. Rather it is created and passed by the SLXWeb.dll.

The general reason that you get this error message is that even though you may have installed .Net framework 1.1, you haven't installed ASP.net on one or all of your web servers.

Do this, and then try it again.

One thing to note, is that if you install ASP.net AFTER installing IIS as you will be doing, go into IIS manager, right click on the Web Server and select properties. Then make sure that ASP is set to use the framwork you have just installed.

Regards,

Martin
