Anyone have any issues with Group Manager components not showing up after
upgrading from 6.2.2 to 6.2.3 or 6.2.4?

I have upgraded going through all documented steps, and I can not get the
group manager components to show up, the topnav is blank.

Thanks,

Ron Davis

Yes ASP.net is enabled, and all looks fine including COM objects, and App Pools.

What version of ASP.NET do you have associated with the web site? Make sure it is 1.1. I've seen 2.0 get associated with SLX before. I think it may have been a former unqualified employee who goofed, but I don't know what caused it for sure. Also, do you have any .NET 2.0 apps that could be running in the app pool that loaded first? If Slx tries to use an app pool that already has the 2.0 framework loaded, you'll be hosed because it can't have a 1.1 and 2.0 in the app pool. If so, create an app pool specifically for the 2.0 framework and associated applications. Lastly, verify the identity is set to the SLX anonymous web user. You said all looks fine, but I'm not sure exactly what you checked, so I'm throwing things out for ideas.

Also, when you don't see the group manager components, do you see anything? Sometimes you can just make out a yellow box that has an asp.net error in it where the group manager is. If you click in it, you can drag down and highlight the text and get an idea of what the error message is.

You can explicitly specify which .NET framework version a site or app uses by bringing up the Properties dialog for the app (dir/virtual dir) or the site, then selecting the ASP.NET tab, and then selecting the appropriate .NET Version from the drop down. Maybe it has defaulted to the wrong version?

Thanks Everyone for all of your responses!

It turns out that the new "Base" plugins were enabled, as well as the
existing customized plugins were enabled, I guess confusing the
web client as to which templates to render.

Thanks,

Ron
