When i give the local admin access to the PID running my SLX Website and the site opens with no problems.

Now my security group has come up with this new theory that ADMIN rights wont be given to any local PIDs in any system. So i changed the configs to include the 3 local rights assignment(as specified in the docs) to my PID running on my SLX Website and the site fails to open.

Is there anything else which is NOT in the docs that you need to do if you have get the webdll to work without the ADMIN rights?

Nandu,

When you say PIDs ... Are you talking about the DLLHost (IIS 5) / w3wp.exe (IIS 6)? Please clarify what PIDs you are talking about.

If I you are talking top level; on the config tool of Web Manager, there is a tab called User. Change this user to whatever service account your network guys want to use. I don't think you are going to gain anything in the way of security unless you are using webDLL as a user rather than a service account.
