Is is possible to edit attachments in the web client? It looks like you can edit, but must save locally.. Thanks

Yes you can. But that is a weird setup slx has there if you want to use it with the existing LAN db.Everything goes to the attachments table and the documents folder.If the folder resides inside , it uses TCP 139 port to write stuff inside which most FW admins block.They are not going to let it go and you'd be forced to disable the attachments page.

The Alternative is to code in something in aspnet and call it in that tab in the webclient.That somethig in aspnet should use a secured component which wil securely write stuff inside to the docs folder.If you ever come across such a component, let me know and i will make these guys buy it as well...

The funny thing is that when you call slx support , they expect us to deploy slxweb inside )))
