SLX Web -> Calendar & Export Groups to Excel
Posted: 23 Jan 07 7:15 AM

fiogf49gjkf0d Hello friends,
After some attempts to customize SLX Web we've stumbled upon some nasty things.
1) We try to localize The Calendar - so some frames ( timeless activities, summary and so on) show non-english characters using wrong codepage( or something like that - completely unreadable). Adding meta-tags in the main template ( Calendardayview, calendarmonthview ...) yields nothing.
2) Top frame (topnav) contains a right menu with some Group operations - I can see a "Export to Excel" option but it is always gray and disabled. After some digging in the scripts I found a reference to "top.SEN" - it there a special object SEN? Or does exporting group to Excel require Excel installed?
Thanks for your replies |

fiogf49gjkf0d Anton,
I can't address number 1, but as for #2, yes, Excel must be installed on the client you are trying to export to excel on.
I'm not familiar with "top.SEN". Is this version 7?

fiogf49gjkf0d Excel - I am having the same issue. Even with machines with Excel installed. Any insight as to un-greying excel on a machine with Excel installed? Thanks |

fiogf49gjkf0d As far as excel being greyed out, I found that if I check the 'Enable Active mail' checkbox when logging in it activates excel also. |
