Another newbie question! What is the best way to release your entire package to a team. I have the team setup. I have all the changes (html, aliases, etc.) in one package. The best I can understand from the help is to set an override for each item in the package??? Boy am I ever pulling my gray hair out here!

Yep, you're exactly right. If you already have templates/actions/etc. and you simply want to use different ones for a team, you have to set an override for each one to the team.

Actually what I need to do is release my package to everyone. I have a new out of the box install of the web client. Our first time using it. I added our customizations to a package and tested with admin. Now I need to release these to everyone inplace of the BASE package and I am not quite sure exactly how to do this. From the help I gather I set an overide. In the override I see teams and users but no everyone. Point me in the right direction please - I got two good eyes but still don't see!

David,

I think that the issue is in your understanding of overrides. If you have not put on any overrides already (and you haven't coded it to change screens on the fly for ADMIN) then what admin sees is what everyone else sees.

Overrides are if you want a team or user to see something different than what is already there. For example everyone will see the Account screen you have developed. If however, you want a particular team to see a different template instead, you will create an override for this team from the standard template to the template specific to this team.

Overrides do not work in the same way as plugin releases in the LAN client.

Regards,

Martin
