Business customer receives an Admin.exe application error box, with "0x01f7de40 referenced memory could not be read" error message using Adminstrator. I can drop and rebuild the connection, it works once, then the second time gives the same error message.

Anyone else have this issue? Feels like a conflict between Windows and Administrator, or a different application and Administrator.

I have seen this exact same behavior in the 7.0 Sales Client. We went round and round with support and nothing worked.
The machine had to be reloaded from scratch to fix the problem.
The only oddity about this customer was that they where not in a Domain environment.
I hope you have better success than we did.

I saw the same with v6.2. It occurs when exiting all SLX apps (Client, Admin, Arch). Our customer believes it's related to uninstall of a Sprint broadband wireless card driver. It only happenned on PCs that changed their broadband from Sprint to Cingular. They narrowed it down to uninstalling the Sprint drivers. Fix was to reinstall Windows.

This issue was a conflict between the Sprint wireless card driver and SalesLogix Administrative workstation. They uninstalled the Sprint driver, rebooted, reinstalled, and unchecked the optimization choice. SLX Admin Workstation works without issue.
