90 percent of my users cannot make the "Copy Opp Info to Email" link in the Opportunity Snapshot actually work (i.e., when they click the link, no email is generated with the information from the Opportunity Detail page). I'm trying to determine the pattern that would cause this link to work for two of my users, but not for the rest (Internet Explorer settings, etc.?)

Has anyone ever seen this?

Thanks for your help!

This pulls from the mail settings in SalesLogix. Can you do a Write/Email from the menu and it work? I believe both methods simply make a mailto: call. You can pour through the code in the Opportunity Details screen. I've had to make some minor modifications to it before and if it's not working you can easily convert it to something that does (like for instance, using the Outlook COM object directly).

Also which version of SalesLogix? Office 2003 SP2 is broken in all versions of SalesLogix up until 6.2 SP3 Hotfix 8 I believe (or 5, I confuse them) or SP4. If your users have upgraded Office but not SalesLogix, that may be why some of them work and some don't. That's the only thing I can think of based on the information provided but it's possible it was something like the users in question don't have an email client setup in their Tools/Options.
