Has anybody written a webservice to submit a webform to a SLX lead? I understand the Lead Portal is available for that, but I am trying to circumvent that.

Hi Phil,

I've built that a few times, but nothing generic enough to offer as a product. Did you have specific questions about building it, or just looking for something more shrink-wrapped?

Hi Ryan,

Unfortunately, I was looking for something a bit more shrink-wrapped to save on development time. I have the web services toolkit and can modify the code to fit inserting leads from a form, but was hoping to see if somebody has already built that. Thanks!

If you are using the new web 7.2 portal stuff, I would not go in the toolkit direction anyways. You can create a custom portal and expose the web services using the entity model to do your writes. Will be the supported method in the future I would believe. Building up the portal is pretty easy to do once you determine the service components that you will need.
