Is anyone familiar with any products for securely transferring large files (> 1 GB) other than FTP? My client has reviewed a product www.seebaysh.com which works well but it provides no api or integration with other apps. Ideally, we would want to integrate something with the customer portal.

Thank you,
Daryl Probetts

We've run into a similar issue. Basically, we needed for our customers to be able to send us files, frequently large (>100mb). After looking at all kinds of stuff, we have settle on YouSendIt.com. We are able to integrate it into our site. Simple to use. There are a few other services out there like it. We've just gotten started with it, so I can't yet speak as to our satisfaction, but it does look good so far.

I'm currently using ASPUPLOAD from Persits SW (http://www.aspupload.com/) and it's working fine.
To tell the truth, I do not have such large files to manage.

HTH,

Dave.

We've integrated with Thru using web services before. Pretty large files, I think, maybe up to a couple of gigs. The support was pretty decent and it was easy to use. Worth checking out.
