Editing InsertContact.ascx smart part
Posted: 20 Sep 07 3:22 PM
I'd like to edit the InsertContact.ascx smart part in the App Architect but that smart part doesn't seem to show up under the SalesLogix Application Entities> Contact> Forms. Does anyone know where this form is in the App Arch so i can add some additional fields to it?

If you look at the SmartParts list on that page, you'll notice that the InsertContact SmartPart is listed with "(custom)" next to it. This means that it is not a SmartPart from a QuickForm, so you won't find it listed under the entity model.
You'll find it by looking in the Support Files section of the portal. Expand SmartParts\Contact then you'll see the InsertContactascx file listed there. You could right-click and open in AA or save it out and edit in VS.
