Hi guys,

I have a question here regarding the SLX 7.2 web client, the calendar specifically, i want to know if we can actually modify and play with the way the calendar works, lets say i have a client who wants to have his tasks appear on the calendar and when you right click on them a form would pop up and he can enter his data into it, data from different custom tables that he wants built, is it possible to do this with the 7.2 web client or will we have to make our own calendar system?

Most of the calendar files are available for customization. In the AA, there is an ASCX/CS SmartPart file named ActivityCalendar that contains a lot of the code. You can intercept any event from the calendar control there as well as change the binding, etc, and most of the way the calendar works. There is some code in a compiled assembly module (Sage.SalesLogix.Web.UI.Activity.ActivityModule, Sage.SalesLogix.Web.UI.Activity) which won't be accessible for you to change.

However, most of the areas for what you've described so far should be reachable.
