I'm getting the following error ocassionally on the host server, locally, or trying to login from public web... "Login failed because AuthenticationProvider could not be accessed. Please contact SalesLogix Administrator."

The error appears at login, and keeps the web client on the login page, with this error below the username/password boxes. This is in TEST so, I tooled around a bit without finding an easy answer and rebooted the server. The error went away. Has anyone seen this yet, or know what drives that error message, since it seems to definitely be a captured and identified error?

Thanks,
Todd

I know of a few others that are getting that error consistently (although I do not). Here's what they have done to get rid of it.

1) An IISRESET of the server can reset things to get it all working again some times. With this error, it seems that once it happens it sometimes won't go away until everything gets reset.

2) Have your users access the client by navigating directly to Login.aspx (e.g.: navigate directly to http://servername/slxclient/login.aspx). This forces a new session to start and can sometimes avoid the error from happening for them in the first place.

That's about all I know on that one
