Cannot login non-admin user into Application Architect Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Setting up a demo system on a virtual pc. No problems with web client, customer portal, but now can not access application architect because of "non-admin user" message.
Can log into all other SLX apps. All services running as Local user. I haven't changed passwords, paths or settings since creating the customer portal.

Any clues on what I've done would be greatly appreciated.

That is correct.. you can only use the ADMIN user in AA.

And why would you want a non IT/Admin/Developer type to log into the AA???

Sorry, i didn't make myself clear. I was attempting to log in to AA using the admin user, logged on to the server (2003r2sp2) as administrator.

I was trying to log in to AA using the ADMIN user. That was the problem.

sorry, in the end I had to uninstall and reinstall. Luck for me it was only a test.

My next test was fine and had no issues at all.

We figured it out. Changing the Type in the User Secuirty table to W for the admin user seemed to fix the issue.
