Hi Everyone,

Sorry - its not a development question - just install related.

I have a windows 2000 sp4 server running my web site for SLX 7.2.1 (which is on sql server 2005 on a windows 2003 box)

Speedsearch is working fine on the LAN clients, but on the web client it has an issue. Whenever the search button is pressed I get told :

Multiple controls with the same ID 'AccountID' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs.

followed by a stack trace.

In the event viewer an event is logged blaming asp.net and SpeedSearch.aspx.

Anyone come across this before? Any ideas what I can do?

I don't get any errors, but I also always get zero records back from my search, so maybe it isnt' configured on our system. I am using a straight 7.2.1 client with no modifications.

Yeah I get 0 records back from my search too when using SLXCustomerPortal - its only when using SLXClient that I get the error message. There is an MSN article about the multiple controls error but that is addressed by installing .net framework 1 sp 1 (it mentions a hotfix from Microsoft but when I called them they said its already in the service pack) which I have done with no change.

I am using the SLXClient, not the customer portal. I think we are on the .NET 2.0 platform, so that could have something to do with it. I thought 7.2 need .Net 2.
