problem with lookups
Posted: 28 Jan 08 12:35 PM
Hi Guys,
I've created a custom entity and created an AddEdit form for this entity, 2 of the fields that I am adding are lookups to the Account and to the Contact, and I compared the porperties to those set for Account and Contact lookups in the InsertTicket form, but when I try to Add a new Item these 2 lookups don't default to the current Account and the Contact lookup is not filtering by the current account.
Also when I edit an existing record the Account and Contact lookups show the ID value of AGHEA0002669 instead of Abbott Ltd.
Did I miss some properties to set, or are these types of things done in C# snippets?

You want to set the SeedProperty and SeedValue. The SeedProperty is the field you want to filter by (the account id). The SeedValue you'll set in the DataBindings to bind to whereever you'll be getting the account id from.
Make sense?

I'm a little confused by this, I tried putting SeedValue = Account.Id, but what should go in SeedValue, the Account Lookup controls name or what?
