Why Visual Studio .NET does not recognize picklist controls? Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I created a custom page for the Customer Portal similar to the LeadCapture page of the Lead Capture Portal.
This page is used to register new contacts to an existing slx account and give them access to the customer portal.
The user enters his/her information like name, emal, address, password, login name, etc.
Then after the user submits the information successfully, the Customer Portal's login page shows up for the user to log into the portal.

My problems is that picklists are not working. They don't retrieve the values stored in the database. They only show garbage.
And they are not being recognized by Visual Studio, it gives this error message:

State:Unable to create type 'SalesLogix:PickListControl'. Could not load file or assembly 'Sage.SalesLogix.HighLevelTypes, Version=7.2.0.1503, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\PartnerPortal\PartnerSignUp.aspx

Claudia,

In your BIN folder check to make sure that the Sage.SalesLogix.HighLevelTypes.dll exists. If it does not copy it from the web client bin.

Claudia,

You may also have to copy other assemblies are you move forward. These referenced assemblies should be brought back into AA if you plan to deploy out to another website.

I checked my BIN folder and the Sage.SalesLogix.HighLevelTypes.dll is in there. Do you know what others assemblies could be missing?
