According to the help menu I should be able to go into Project Manager>Portal Manager then right click the portal and choose Test Portal, but Test Portal is not an option. The only options I see are Edit Portal, Delete Portal, Deploy Portal, Add >, Deploy To..., and Build Portal. Am I missing something?

Thanks,
Jonathan

You certainly should have the ability to right click the portal and hit test. It has a green play button next to the word Test Portal.

This applies to 7.2.1 and 7.2.2 - I dont remember it is was in 7.2.0, but in 7.2.1 I think it was a button and in the context menu and in 7.2.2 it is only in the context menu.

My version of AA is 7.2.2.1871 and also I checked a 7.2.2.1902 installation

I think it might have to do with not having Visual Studio installed on the machine. Do you have that? I havent tested this, but it is a hunch that the ASP.NET Development Server is only available when VS.NET (2005 in this case) is installed. I have this installed in all cases above.

I am running Version 7.2.2.1902 but I don't have Visual Studio 2005 installed on it. I will install that on the machine and see if that fixes it.

Thanks,
Jonathan

I take it back. The machine did have VS 2005 on it. It's a 2003 Windows Server.

Thanks,
Jonathan
