Customer Portal Question
Posted: 01 May 08 10:49 AM
I have created a new entity and have it displayed on the customer portal (for assets). However, the list of assets that are displayed on the web page represent ALL the assets in the system; not just those for the account that is logged in. Does anyone know how to adjust the groups dynamically to only list those items that belong to the user logged in? Any insight on how SLX is doing this with the ticket entity in the customer portal?

When you say "list of assets" are you referring to a grid you put on a form, or are you talking about an asset group?

Sorry about that - I mean an asset group (which mimics the ticket group when the user first logs in, except it shows their assets).

I've not tried it, but I would guess it's not going to work. You'll likely just have to create a page that lists the assets for the currently logged in contact's account.
