related lookups and prefilter a lookupYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hi,

I have two different questions related with lookups.

1. I have a custom entity that is related with account and address. The address depends the account select. For that I have 2 lookups: one binding to account and the other binding to address. The second one has the seedvalue mapped to MainEnity.Account.Id. The 2 lookups are working fine when the record selected is saved on the database. I mean, when I edit a record for the new entity, the address lookup is filtered correctly by account. But if, for example, I'm creating a new record, then, tha address lookup is not filtered. How can I correct this behaviour?

2. I want filter a lookup to show only some values that have accountid equals to null. For that I'm using Lookup Prefilters collection. But the query the lookup running is "..... accountid like 'null%'). Is it possible always filter a lookup by some field equals to null?

I hope somebody can help me.
Thanks.
