Thats not an awful lot clearer....are you trying to create a drop down list in the client with values from the database as opposed to a status picklist?
If so, im not sure if this has changed in 7.2.2, but previously this was only possible in a custom smart part, and literally creating the code for it yourself - i.e. change the quickform to a custom smartpart, add an Asp:Dropdownlist, create your own datasource with the relevant sql, then set the datasource of the asp:dropdownlist to your new datasource. I have done it somewhere, Ill try and dig out the code...
Does anyone else know if there is an easier way or if this is even possible in a quickform? i know I couldnt see that it was last time I tried to do this, but that was back in 7.2.0.... |
