Launch a Report from a Button
Posted: 03 Jun 08 10:39 AM
I'd like to attach a button to an entity detail view to allow me to print a report for that entity. I've written the report, and I can launch it from the reports smartpart, but I can't figure out how to tie it to a button.
How would I launch a specific report with a button press?

How important is this customer requirement?!
The reason I ask is I had A LOT of trouble when I attempted this. The encrypted password that you have to send to Crystal never seems to authenticate, so we had to resort to just taking them to the reports screen on a particular report when they click they button.
I did try it a long time ago (when product was in beta) my 7.2 web skills are probably a bit better now though...
