Account Detail Load Action -- might be simple --
Posted: 02 Jul 08 6:23 AM
Does this property fire before the actual form is loaded..?
I am having trouble referencing a control .. need to make a control visible or invisible dependant on value in another field..
Error always relates to control not having a reference..
Thanks

Before the form is loaded, but you can still reference the controls...
What is the exact error? You will always be able to access controls on the page in a loadaction - that is mainly the point of the loadaction.
Can you paste your code (or the line that errors)?

Nick, Thanks for the assistance here is the error I am getting howver I found out the issue:
Issue is that C# is case sensitive DOH... so it was looking for ConAcct and I was giving it conAcct.... Errrr
Thought C# was supposed to be easier than VB..
Here was the error for reference for others ---
c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\SlxClient\SmartParts\Account\AccountDetails.ascx(487): error CS0117: 'ASP.AccountDetails' does not contain a definition for 'conAcct'

Ah common error when starting with C#! Hehe, I worked with Javascript a lot before C# so luckily very used to the annoyance of case sensitivity. It breeds good practice anyway, well, so they keep telling me
The structure of C# is much better than VB, give it one month and Im sure you will agree
