Database table name (instead of entity name) appears in the Group viewer drop down list.Your last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

I just followed the tutorial in the training material to add a new entity called "Trustee". I named everything (including the entiry, description, page etc) to be called "Trustee", except the database table is called "TrusteeInfo". After the initial deployment, I can visit /trustee.aspx, which shows no record because no group has been defined. After I created a new group, the page refreshed to /TrusteeInfo.aspx?gid=xxxxx, which obviously doesn't exist. I also notice between "Tools" and "Groups" menu, it displays Trusteeinfo:All Trustees, and when clicked it tried to launch /Trusteeinfo.aspx, instead Trustee.aspx.

Why does it keep using the database table name on the UI? Is there a place I can change that?

Your input appreciated!!

The Sage training material is designed such that if you follow it exactly.. you get the expected (correct results).
I suggest you review all of the steps and where ever you made changes, make the same change everywhere... or just do exactly as the manual says.

The Group Manager doesnt reference the entity model - it still uses the same table structure as it does in the old versions. Try setting the caption of the table in Administrator to what you want it to display as..

SORRY ignore, just reread your question

The training material use "Senator" as an example and both entiry and table name happen to be the same. However I have to use different table and entity name. I can rename my main page for my entiry to be TrusteeInfo.aspx so that it doesn't break, but it bothers me that the grouping control seems "hardcoded" to use the table name.
