I'd like to change some of the default values used to populate a new record in a certain entity. I installed Reflector, and just as I suspected, those values are defined in the entity's onCreate event.

There is no edit link to modify the onCreate in AA. Do I just just add my own onCreate step to reset the values I want to change, or do I delete the OOTB onCreate, and add my own with code based on what I copied from Reflector?

When exactly does onCreate execute anyway? Does it write the record to the database? or does it just populate fields in the view for display on the screen?
