NHibernate, Stored Procs and joinsYour last visit to this thread was on 1/1/1970 12:00:00 AM

Hi

I am creating a custom smart part with a datagrid on it and am having some dificulty with the data to display in it. I want to display fields from two diferent tables that are joined and can't work out how to do this. I have figured out how to do it with data from one table using an IList and databinding it to the datagrid but I can't figure out how to use ICriteria to create a join so that I can display a field from the join table.

On a similar issue I want to return a large number of results to a datagrid. The dataset comes from quite a complex query so I am thinking that I should create my own connection with the IDataService interface and create my own data binding without the use of any NHibernate.

Any tips?

I found that the best way is to build a simple datagrid with the AA wizard and then see what code is created to do the databinding etc... You can then start building on the custom control from there.
