Can I make a textbox required within the entity model, without pulling the plugin into the VS/support files route? For example the Account Phone number? Account is already required - can I indicate this on the screen somehow within the AA?

One approach is the modify the template the renders the QuickForm control as an ASP.NET control. Nick Galler has outlined his approach for doing that here: http://blog.chivinou.net/2008/05/13/required-textbox-on-saleslogix-web-client/

It works great. You basically end up just needing to end any "required" text control names with "_req" and it adds the validator to it.
