Reg:Problem while using Saleslogix FullName control

Hi ,
I think so everybody familiar with FullName name control (saleslogix control),
If we click contactname OK or Cancel button that time only NameFirstChanged event is firing, In other hand if we entered the first name values directly on the contctname field the event is not firing.
I am using this code only
nmeContactName.NameFirstChanged += new EventHandler(nmeContactName_NameFirstChanged);
