Hi, everyone

The situation: i have a custom entity based on a custom Table on 7.5. This table has a field that stores user ids. i created the quick form with a User Control (Lookup) and pointed to this field. The format for this field is SLX Standard ID.
The problem is that its saving the name instead of the ID. I tried also with a Owner Control but is the same.

Hi, Stephen

The Lookup binding is set to LookupResultValue = MainEntity.Responsable (The field that stores the UserID

Is the MainEntity.Responsable property a relationship property to the User entity? It should be...at least thats the way it needs to be done in 7.2

Yes. Nick is right - the binding is generally done on a Relationship, not on a field.

No, its not. SO, I need to create a relationship to the user entity only to make the Lookup to save an ID instead of a Name?

I have that problem before, did you set ReturnPrimaryKey Property = "true"??
