Hi

I am having trouble viewing the data feed of SalesLogix in Sharp Reader, i have been able to view the data in Internet Explorer or Firefox, but when it comes to sharpreader, even though i specify the username and password of SalesLogix it doesnt authenticate me, it returns a 401 unauthorized access error.

The URL i provide on IE/Firefox/Sharpreader i give is

http://machinename/sdata/slx/dynamic/accounts

Any inputs here?

Cheers
Kannan

Having done quite a bit of work w/sData (We'll be giving a webinar on sData sometime in the near future , I'm guessing that Sharp reader just does not set the "header Info" up correctly (UTF 8, atom+xml, and NetWork Credentials).

Point of information...
sdata was not intended to be "consumed" by web browsers, RSS readers, etc.. It's intended to be consumed by RESTful Web Services base developer designed apps. Typically these apps will be built in VS2008 in either C# or VB.NET. You could build them in anything (VBScript, etc). However you have to understand how to build them.. and there is basically zero documentation on this from anyone (including Sage. That is why we'll be providing some on-line "mini-tutorials" on it.
