Mashups for Google Maps
Posted: 19 Nov 08 10:12 AM
I've got the new 7.5 and the docuementation says, "easily add a google maps mashup". Well I'm not finding this too easy. I'm familiar with the Google Maps API but can't seem to get a handle on creating Mashups in SLX. Anyone got any good tips on how to build a Google Map mashup per the SLX marketing. I ultimately want a small window with my google map that has the customers address plotted on it. When i change contacts, i want the map to update with the new contacts address.
thanks for any guidance or examples.

... well.. there's "easily".. and there's "easily"
One of the really slick things available from Sage University is a (company wide) Developer's subscription. This has a SIGNIFICANT number of examples of doing customizations is both the LAN and Web. Information is presented in "video" format and in many cases includes downloads. The Google maps example is there.
They are constantly adding items to the subscription.
There's a lot of BP's that subscribe to this - including US!
