Pass parameters to dialog action
Posted: 20 Nov 08 6:00 AM
Hi all,
what I want to accomplish is this: when I press a "edit" link in a grid, I want to pass a parameter to the opened dialog form.
Anyone knows a way to do this?
Some additional info:
in a tab I have a list of an entity 1-N with Contact (Years).
in a dialog I have a list of purchases related to that Contact (not to the year, but directly to the contact).
What I want is a way to pass the year contextually with the opening of the dialog (I would like to filter the data in the purchase list by year).
Thank you all in advance.

No one found a way to pre-filter a grid dynamically?
I don't know even if I am doing the right question...
What about catching the selected row in the first grid? I really don't know how to use the "select" column type.
